Subject: 2018 State Master Gardeners Conference
Sandoval County Master Gardeners will be hosting the 2018 State Master Gardeners Conference. We would like to gather a strong core of members we can count on to help. You are receiving this invitation because we have either individually or collectively worked with you and know we can count on you.
The State Conference is scheduled for August 31 2018 (Friday evening reception), Sept 1 all day conference session, and Sept 2 various optional tours. We have selected the Marriott Pyramid as the venue. To successfully host this event we have identified a number of committees that are needed and we plan to hold a meeting July 27 2pm at Extension to get together and see how we would like to do what for the conference.
The conference is more than 13 months away. Most of us have lives that will take us away from volunteer work during the year so please understand you will not be expected to attend every meeting and handle every detail.
All committees need two Co-Chairs to share responsibility and work load.
That said, no one should feel they are working alone - this is going to take a team to make it work.
Please join us and help make the 2018 State Conference a success. If you plan to attend, please let me know and I will send you some materials in advance of the meeting.
