The Conference Steering Committee and Treasurer met Monday to go over a number of items that came up at the last Conference Committee meeting.
Conference Fees and Deadlines
Early registration will begin as soon as we are ready and the cost is $125.
Early registration will end February 28 and the cost after that time is $150.
Anyone working at the Conference who needs a price break to attend will be permitted to pay $75.
We felt that the $25 Save My Space idea was too complicated and might be confusing.
We plan to encourage people to pay by check. For those who wish the convenience of paying on-line through Paypal the EventBright and Paypal charges will be added to the ticket price ($8.49 for regular registration, $7.25 for early registration and $4.74 for the worker discount ticket).
Tee Shirts
We want to proceed with the idea of conference tee-shirts.
Subcommittee Decision Making Guidelines
We would like final recommendations to be made by the subcommittees working on the issues. We ask that you come to the full Conference Committee with your final recommendation and rationale.
Updates
We have learned that we can provide our own AV for the Conference. Steve Lucero will provide us with assistance to obtain the equipment. This will save us considerable expense for the conference.
Please mark your calendar for the second Tuesday of the month at 1pm. We will make that the regular meeting time for the Conference Committee.
